Meri Superak

Meri is a singer and multi-instrumentalist comfortable with any genre of music. Meri has performed with Soul Fire (Contra Dance band) at the Seattle Folk Fest and with One-Eyed George and Blind-toothed Meri (Folk and Original Jazz) at various venues in Montana, Mmm Mmm Good (Blues, Covers Folk and Originals) at farmers markets, private parties and fundraisers.

Meri’s magical flutes sing right along side the birds. Her sounds transform listeners as images of the natural world unfold. Meri composes original blues, jazz and interesting folk music in addition to soulful Native American Flute music. Her first Native American Flute CD, Hlysnan stirs images of a journey of Fox from birth into the unknown that brings about re-birth into enlightenment Meri is also a Board Member of the FluteTree Foundation, fluteTree.org. Meri loves gardening, drinking coffee and hanging out with friends.

Passiflora uses Celtic harp, Ukulele, diverse vocal styling, and a variety of wind instrumentations to tease new impressions from Modern, Turn of the Century and Folk as well as Original compositions.”
